Every trip has been a unique and memorable experience, introducing hidden treasurers at each location…best quilt shops, shows, and tours with artistic and historic value. Chicago was my favorite trip that included Frank Lloyd Wright homes and buildings, and a surprise bus tour with a gun-wielding gangster from the 1920s. Another trip was in the Seattle area with a tour of the Boeing aircraft factory in Everett, WA followed by several quilt shops stops. I especially enjoyed the Charleston/Savannah tour with Lynn’s homegrown knowledge of the area. How do the TQ owners know what I want to see?
My husband and I loved to travel throughout the United States. We have been to all the states. It was wonderful until my traveling companion died. I thought my traveling life was over. Then I discovered The Traveling Quilters. They have changed my life and brought new joy into it. They have taken me places I hadn't seen before and quilt shows I never heard of while being in the company of great people. I have always felt safe traveling with them and have always had lots of fun. I am forever grateful to The Traveling Quilters!! Thank You!!
I look forward to seeing plans for the next Traveling Quilters trip. I have traveled to places with them I would never have gone on my own. The trip planners do a marvelous job of providing a variety of experiences every time.
I always look forward to receiving the new itinerary for the Traveling Quilters. Every trip is planned so carefully and always includes destinations that have an interest for all attendees. The accommodations are always top notch and despite more than 40 years of travel with my husband, they always manage to find something that I have never seen or done before! A great travel deal for the cost and so much fun meeting new people who love to travel and quilt!
