After our first Big Bear Quilt-Away retreat in 1990, we realized that our budget would not allow catering for our guests. So for over 30 retreats, we did all the cooking (with an occasional pizza thrown in!) We finally decided to hang up our Chef's hat and moved our retreats to Vina De Lestonnac in Temecula, where we enjoy meals cooked by Charity, a professional chef. It was a win-win for us. We have more sewing time and our guests enjoy some fabulous meals!
